The T6laser is equipped in the laser building of our laboratory. The T6laser is originally named by the acronym of Table-top Ten TW Ten Hz Tunable* Ti:sapphire laser in 1994, when the development and construction of Ti:sapphire CPA laser system was begun in Sakabe's Group. The present performances of the laser system are the output energy of 1 J (at maximum) and 600mJ (at usual operation), the pulse duration of 30fs, the wavelength of 800nm, the maximum intensity of 1020W/cm2, and the repetition rate from single shot to 10Hz.
The system is structured from a mode-locked oscillator, a pulse stretcher, a spectrum shaper, a pulse selector, a pre-amplifier (8-pass), a main amplifier (5-pass), a power amplifier (5-pass), a pulse compressor, a plasma mirror system, and monitors of pulse performance.
(*At the moment the system has no tunability because pulses from the oscillator are as short as 10fs.)
